Macildowie are working with this client based in the Leicestershire area to recruit an Operations Manager
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large national organisation, leading on the delivery of responsive repairs and void property management.
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Working Arrangement: Hybrid with travel across sites
As an Operations Manager, you will take responsibility for ensuring customers receive a first-class service through the effective management of directly employed trades, supervisors, and contractors. You will oversee the delivery of works within agreed timescales and budgets, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to achieve business objectives.
Monitor and deliver against operational KPIs, ensuring cost and quality targets are met.
Line management including performance reviews, mentoring, and disciplinary processes.
Drive a culture of excellence through feedback, recognition, and performance management.
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures and regulations.
Contribute to budget preparation and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Attend management meetings and hold regular team reviews.
Key Requirements:
Qualification in a building-related subject (HNC, City & Guilds, NVQ, or trade background).
Relevant management or supervisory qualification.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
