Job Title: Accounts & Office Administrator
Location: Arnold, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000
Type: Full Time OR Part Time, Permanent
We are currently looking for an Accounts and Office Administrator to join a small business in Arnold, Nottingham. This is role requires a strong background in Administrative roles and a basic understanding of Accounts, ideally Purchase Ledger experience.
This permanent position is suited to someone with an office background in a busy workplace. You will work closely with the office manager to ensure seamless business operations - they will consider either a Full Time OR Part Time candidate, but you MUST be able to work fully on site.
Responsibilities:
- Raise customer invoices when despatched
- Log customer receipts and supplier payments
- Match up supplier invoices and delivery notes
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Bank reconciliation
- Enter orders and invoices on the system
- Small amount of Credit Control duties
- Update spreadsheets/database
- Chase up suppliers when required
- Answer phone when required
- Handle incoming enquiries
- Check post
- Assist with inventory
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Sage is an advantage
- Strong IT skills & basic understanding of accounts
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexible and adaptable individual
- Outgoing and friendly attitude, a genuine team player
