Customer Adviser
Location: Nottingham ( City Centre )
Salary: £13.00 - £14.00PH
Working Hours: Mon- Fri 9am - 5pm
Job Purpose
To provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, resolving issues, and offering guidance on products or services. Customer Advisers play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, live chat, or in person
- Provide accurate product/service information
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues when necessary
- Process transactions, orders, returns, and refunds
- Maintain customer records using CRM or internal systems
- Meet performance targets such as call handling time, customer satisfaction, and sales conversion (if applicable)
- Offer appropriate solutions or up-sell products where relevant
- Keep up to date with product knowledge and company policies
- Follow all company procedures and regulatory compliance requirements
Person Specification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Customer-focused with a positive attitude
- Good IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Desirable:
- Previous experience in a customer advisor role
- Sales experience or target-driven work history
