Finance Support Assistant | Temporary | Office Based | Up To £14ph
We're supporting a well-established business that has recently implemented a new invoicing structure for its supplier base of 1,000+ suppliers. As part of this transition, they are looking for a Finance Support Assistant to provide hands-on support during the change period.
This is a key support role, acting as a first point of contact for suppliers as they move onto either an e-invoicing system (larger suppliers) or an online invoicing portal (smaller suppliers).
The role:
You will be responsible for managing a busy finance inbox and supporting suppliers with a wide range of queries, from straightforward access issues to more complex invoicing or system-related problems that may require escalation.
Key responsibilities will include
- Managing and responding to a shared finance inbox
- Supporting suppliers with system access queries (account setup, password resets, portal guidance)
- Assisting with invoice-related queries and troubleshooting
- Identifying more complex issues and escalating appropriately
- Providing a professional and helpful service to suppliers throughout the transition
What we're looking for:
- Strong inbox management and customer service skills
- A good understanding of finance processes, particularly invoicing
- Confidence communicating with suppliers via email (and phone if required)
- Ability to prioritise and manage a high volume of queries
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, change-driven environment
The details:
- Temporary role for 3 months
- Office-based
- Up to £14 per hour, depending on experience
- Start date: week commencing 5 January
