Conveyancing Administrator
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: 24k-25k
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Administrator. The role involves assisting with administrative and procedural tasks to ensure property transactions progress smoothly and efficiently from instruction to completion.
Key Responsibilities
As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will:
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including contracts and transfers
- Request and process property searches
- Review, consider, and respond to sales enquiries with appropriate guidance
- Assist in the preparation of completion statements
- Support the exchange of contracts and completion process
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other professionals
Skills and Experience
You will bring:
- A minimum of 1 year's experience in a conveyancing role
- A good understanding of conveyancing processes and procedures
- Experience in new build transactions (desirable but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
