Commercial Analyst Up to £45,000 Market Harborough
Monday Friday, 9am 5:15pm Hybrid Working Available
Macildowie has partnered with a well-established organisation based in Market Harborough to recruit a Commercial Analyst.
You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing and managing Business Intelligence, ensuring that all departments throughout the business have the required level of intelligent information and are using the information to maximise business opportunities and commercial performance.
Main Responsibilities
- Accountable for working closely with in-house reporting tools to ensure the creation, management, and distribution of KPI reports throughout the business with a focus on how they can be used to improved commercial performance.
- Working with all teams in the business to enhance their interpretation of available data, whilst identifying additional information required and working with the relevant stakeholders to ensure that's delivered with a commercial focus.
- Work with all areas of the business to improve current process ensuring data becomes usable and at the heart of decision making.
- Ensure that any reporting that goes out to the business meets the business needs and is accurate.
- Identify reporting needs across all sales platforms within the organisation including arms of the business such as the call centre, website and trade sales allowing our client to make informed decisions to accelerate growth.
- Work with senior management to develop and analyse reporting that can be used to optimise opportunities, maximise sales and overall profit/ROI.
- Nurture and support your employees across the business on how to handle big data sets and how best to use this data to support the functioning and decision making of the department.
- Reconcile data across multiple platforms.
- Support marketing automation, being able to manipulate and provide lists of relevant customers that can be used in targeted marketing campaigns.
- Support the marketing team to identify passenger travel trends enabling greater targeting and increasing marketing return on investment.
The Candidate
- Have a great analytical mind to come up with a best solution.
- Commercially minded with experience of working within a similar role having the ability to plan, organise and prioritise your workload.
- Able to present your findings at all levels of the business and adapting reports are friendly and engaging for end-users.
- Advanced level Excel and PowerBI skills.
- Comfortable working of your own initiative and be the driving force delivering improvements.
- Possess significant data analytics experience and qualifications a preference.
