Business Intelligence Analyst (CRM) | Chesterfield | Flexible with some travel to other sites

Macildowie Finance is currently working on a job offering the opportunity to work for a well-known business with a turnover in excess of £35 million, based across several sites in the UK.

You will be someone who has excellent attention to detail and a hard-working attitude. You will play a key role in building the newly formed role by providing sales and CRM performance and opportunity insight to both internal and external stake holders, to assist with informed decision making. Working closely and building deep relationships throughout the business.

You will be pivotal in providing data analysis to improve the understanding of customer, competitors, sector, service, and product performance to optimize marketing and sales opportunities' streamlining processes, optimize operations, to help achieve the business goals.

This is a crucial role in the team and will have a large part to play in how the rest of the team is set up in the future.

The role is based in Chesterfield (J29A) and will involve occasional travel to other sites (1 in Chesterfield and the other in Bridgend - Wales) the frequency will depend on the needs of the site as they implement the new CRM system. Flexible working is in place - with a day a week working from home if required.

So what is the job?

  • CRM Strategies: Plan and implement strategies to engage customers, increase their lifetime value, and boost revenue.
  • Reports and Dashboards: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track business metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • CRM Effectiveness: Ensure the CRM system is accurate, provide user support, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Competitor Analysis: Build a detailed competitor log in CRM, including market pricing, product offers, key strategies, and financial health.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team and other stakeholders to develop automated email campaigns with clear objectives and KPIs.
  • Database Management: Manage and update the CRM contact database to ensure it's current and relevant.
  • Presentations: Prepare and present internal and external results and analytics to key stakeholders.
  • Training Programs: Design and deliver localized training programs on Dynamics 365 for effective knowledge transfer and user adoption.
  • CRM Enhancements: Implement modifications to CRM in collaboration with UK CRM lead and Group CRM to improve information quality.
  • Training Materials: Create engaging training materials, including presentations, guides, and interactive exercises.
  • Technology Updates: Stay updated on the latest developments in Dynamics 365 applications and related technologies.

What are you like?

  • Technical understanding of Dynamics 365, with proven experience supporting Dynamics CRM/ D365 CE systems.
  • Exposure to Power BI is desirable.
  • A deep interest and strong ability in conducting data analysis.
  • Good communication with the ability to negotiate and present insights to non-technical audiences at all levels.
  • Excellent relationship management building skills.
  • Excellent organisation, and time management skills.
  • Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.

You will ideally be from a Finance/CRM or Analysis background (although professional qualifications are not essential) and have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. You'll also be someone who loves to be in the detail, with a strong experience in large volume data analysis with strong organisational skills. You will have experience and confidence dealing with internal teams across the business and have the ability to work at pace and remain consistent under pressure. You will be proactive in your approach to work with the ability to identify issues and drive actions quickly.
