Senior Pricing Analyst
Location: Warwickshire (hybrid)
Salary: £65,000 to £70,000 + benefits
About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Pricing Model Manager to take ownership of our pricing model, tools, and analytics environment ensuring pricing accuracy, commercial insight, and continuous improvement in how we use data to drive decision-making.
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our pricing strategy and tools, working across commercial, finance, sales, and IT teams to ensure our pricing model is robust, transparent, and aligned with business performance goals. This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong coding skills and the ability to turn data-driven insight into commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own, manage, and continuously improve the pricing model and related tools (SQL, Excel, Python, Power BI).
- Identify, investigate, and resolve pricing issues ensuring accuracy, consistency, and performance impact analysis.
- Develop and enhance Python- and Excel-based tools that underpin our pricing logic and data automation.
- Analyse pricing data, market trends, and competitor activity to inform commercial strategy.
- Design and implement measurement tools that identify changes in market dynamics and trading performance.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior commercial decision-makers, influencing pricing and margin strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed pricing discipline and foster a data-driven, high-performing culture.
About You
We're looking for someone with a blend of technical capability and commercial acumen someone who can write efficient Python code one moment and lead a strategic pricing conversation the next.
You'll bring:
Advanced skills in Python, SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
- Strong mathematical/statistical grounding with the ability to translate complex data into clear commercial narratives.
- Experience managing and enhancing pricing models in a B2B trading or similar commercial environment.
- Confidence to collaborate and challenge constructively, building strong relationships across commercial, finance, and IT teams.
- Ideally, understanding of ERP pricing logic.
