Working closely with senior Tax and Finance stakeholders, the successful candidate will support a broad range of corporate tax reporting, compliance, forecasting and international tax activities. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can work independently, manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage UK corporation tax returns and associated compliance requirements.
  • Support monthly, quarterly and year-end corporate tax reporting.
  • Prepare tax disclosures for statutory accounts and management reporting.
  • Assist with corporate tax budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow planning.
  • Prepare and calculate management fees and assess related tax considerations.
  • Support transfer pricing projects, documentation and implementation.
  • Prepare and manage Employment Related Securities (ERS) reporting.
  • Undertake Controlled Foreign Company (CFC) analysis and related tax assessments.
  • Manage UK corporation tax quarterly instalment payments.
  • Support international and US corporate tax reporting requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with Finance teams across multiple jurisdictions to manage corporate tax matters.
  • Provide practical tax advice on international taxation matters, including transfer pricing.
  • Support tax considerations arising from acquisitions, business transfers, restructuring and wider transformation projects.
  • Coordinate Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) requirements.
  • Develop broader knowledge across areas such as VAT and employment taxes and provide support to Finance teams where required.
  • Support senior Tax stakeholders with ad hoc tax projects, technical analysis and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, controls and reporting.

Candidate Profile

  • CTA qualification or equivalent, or ACA/ACCA qualification with strong corporate tax experience.
  • Proven experience in UK corporation tax compliance and reporting.
  • Previous in-house or industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience with corporate tax reporting systems and/or finance systems would be advantageous.
  • Strong technical understanding of UK corporate taxation.
  • Exposure to international tax, transfer pricing and CFC matters.
  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a highly organised approach.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurately against tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative, proactive and commercially focused approach.
  • The ability to work autonomously and make an immediate contribution.
