Management Accountant - North Leicestershire - Exciting Career Prospects - ACCA/CIMA Finalist

Macildowie Finance are excited to be working with a fantastic, dynamic business based in North Leicestershire who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their diverse and brilliant finance team.

They would like a Part-Qualified/Finalist with experience working with month end procedures and core accounting experience to join their team on a permanent basis. If you are looking for the next step up, this could be a great opportunity for you!

The role will have responsibility for the processing and subsequent reporting of month end tasks, and also supporting with group consolidation. There will also be the requirement of reporting to various stakeholders both within and outside of finance.

Some of the responsibilities are listed below:

• Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of monthly VAT returns
• Ownership of key aspects of the balance sheet
• Balance sheet reconciliations and month end journals
• Assisting with margin and cost reviews
• Assisting with preparation of group consolidation

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified (Finalist preferable)
• Strong attention to detail for high quality reporting
• Effective communication skills at all levels
• Core accounting experience working with month end processes
• Advanced Excel skills and understanding
