Macildowie Finance are thrilled to be working with a dynamic and exciting business based in North Leicestershire who have revenues in excess of £300 million.

They are looking for a Management Accountant with experience working with month end procedures and core accounting experience to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role will have responsibility for the processing and subsequent reporting of month end tasks, and also supporting with group consolidation. There will also be the requirement of reporting to various stakeholders both within and outside of finance.

Some of the responsibilities are listed below:

• Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of monthly VAT returns
• Ownership of key aspects of the balance sheet
• Balance sheet reconciliations and month end journals
• Assisting with margin and cost reviews
• Assisting with preparation of group consolidation

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified (Finalist preferable)
• Strong attention to detail for high quality reporting
• Effective communication skills at all levels
• Core accounting experience working with month end processes
• Advanced Excel skills and understanding
