Payroll and Pensions Officer

Location: Just outside Nottingham City Centre (NG2)

Type: Full-Time, Temporary-to-Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4pm; Friday, 8am - 3:30pm

Hybrid Working: 2 days in the office, 3 days from home

Position Overview: As a Payroll and Pensions Officer, you will play a vital role in our Payroll team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and pension administration. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, where the successful candidate will be offered a permanent position after a 3-month period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage payroll for our diverse employee base, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Handle pension administration, including enrolment, contributions, and communication with pension providers.
  • Maintain and update employee records within the payroll system.
  • Address payroll and pension-related queries from employees and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure seamless integration of payroll and HR processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in payroll and pension administration.
  • Familiarity with various payroll systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of relevant payroll and pension regulations.
