As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate management information across the business, collaborating closely with the Financial Controller and the wider Finance team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute month-end tasks, including pre-payment and accrual journal posting, and conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Generate month-end analysis reports to offer valuable insights into financial performance.
  • Prepare and process weekly Purchase Ledger Payment Runs efficiently.
  • Manage the processing and uploading of quarterly VAT Returns to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide ad-hoc reporting and support as needed.
  • Facilitate intercompany transactions and recharges for seamless financial operations.
  • Contribute to the achievement of the company's objectives by undertaking additional duties within your capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Part Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Skills: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an Accounts Team is essential, with a preference for candidates who possess logistics experience.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is crucial to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
