Our client an exciting and vibrant branded business based in Northampton is currently looking to appoint a new Finance Business Partner to join their established and successful finance team. Hybrid/remote working is available with this opportunity.

Reporting to the Finance Director the key purpose of this management accounting, business partnering and analytical role will be to ensure the timely and accurate production and preparation of management accounts, customer spending activity and financial planning information.

Your core responsibilities will include the following activities: the timely and accurate production of month and year end management accounts; to compile, report and analyse customer spending, expense and accrual activities in line with other EMEA controls and procedures; to monitor invoices received against accruals and to ensure that these are cross referenced to contracts and turnover to ensure validity of charges. In addition to the above duties and responsibilities you will also identify process strengths and weaknesses detailing areas for process improvement in terms of supporting requests from the business and on-going initiatives.

With a good understanding of accrual accounting and general accounting principles, this is an exciting and visible opportunity that will suit a hands-on and results focused accountant / business partner with a strong academic record of achievement and who is hungry for a new challenge and passionate about working for a fast moving, quality driven Global business.

Advantageous to this opportunity will be advanced level spreadsheet and systems skills.
