We are working with an iconic brand and organisation in the heart of Nottingham to appoint a Management Accountyant to join their vibrant, fast-paced team.

This instantly recognisable business are experiencing fantastic growth and would like to appoint an ambitious and confident candidate to support the finance manager in the production of the monthly management accounts.

Your key duties and responsibilities will include;

• To assist in the preparation of the month-end management accounts pack and provide trend analysis, analysis of margin performance vs plan and overhead variance analysis reports for the sites/contracts.
• Overhead monitoring to include purchase ledger process, phasing and journals
• To help ensure that all taxes and duties (including VAT, FEU) are accurately accounted for in respect of all transactions.
• To manage and review the accounts payable and accounts receivables ledger, provide any support needed to help resolve any aged creditors and be responsible for managing some key accounts.
• Preparation of month end journals to include prepayments, accruals, stock reconciliations and fixed assets.
• Compile information from multiple sources and verify it to produce the groundwork for large complex settlements.
• Monthly reconciliation of balance sheets codes
• Help support the NM management team by providing support and analysis when required.
• Revenue recognition to include sales invoice process, phasing and journals
• Inter-company journal processing and reconciliation
• To achieve the required performance KPIs and targets as stipulated in our contractual arrangements.
• To assist in the management and reporting of the company's cash flow and treasury management.
• To undertake other task or duties as may be allocated from time to time in keeping with the responsibility of post.

The successful candidate will have gained a good grounding within the Management Accounting function and be able to hit the ground running in this fast-paced organisation.

You will ideally be part-qualified and studying towards a professional qualification although candidates with demonstrable experience will also be considered.

The role is based in the offices five days a week but it is a unique and exciting workplace in the centre of Nottingham with free parking.
