Purchase Ledger Assistant

Location: Langar, Manufacturing Company

Type: Temporary (3-4 months) with Potential for Permanent

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week), 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with flexibility)

About the Company:

A well-established manufacturing company located in the Langar area with a commitment to quality and innovation, making them a leader in the industry. This company are now seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their finance team on a temporary basis with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will play a vital role in the finance department, working closely with the Financial Controller. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with processing invoices and purchase orders
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Data entry and record keeping
  • Assisting with month-end procedures
  • Collaborating with various departments to resolve invoice discrepancies


To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A willingness to learn and a strong desire to grow in the finance field
  • Basic understanding of finance principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • SAP experience would be desirable, but not essential
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
