Finance Systems Project Manager
We are recruiting a Interim Finance Systems Project Manager for a business who are going through an exciting period of transformation!
As Finance Systems PM, your role will be as the Finance lead between the Systems Project Manager and the external systems provider in order to lead, deliver and fully support the successful implementation of their new MS based Finance System into the business from a Finance perspective, and be instrumental in its successful roll out for the site. This role will be for c4-6mnths.
This role is key to the success of the new system implementation. You will not only work as part of the project team to scope out current processes and data used, you also support the systems implementation into Finance and support users on the new system. You will also be working with all stakeholder's to ensure best practice processes are used and process automation is maximised during its implementation. You will be supporting the project team and Finance Director on the implementation and its successful delivery into the business.
- Identify and map out the tasks and activities required to successfully complete the project for 'go live' into Finance
- Be hands on in process mapping and data cleansing and data migration for finance
- Lead the project team through the Finance lifecycle of the project
- Ensure the implementation project is kept on track and deliverables are achieved throughout
- Monitor the project costs in line with budget assigned
- Implement a strong control environment in the new system, including documentation of key processes and procedures
- Provide training of the new system to existing finance team
Previous experience within Finance and of leading finance through a Systems Implementation is essential for the success of this role- ideally with a finance and/or project management qualification.
As Systems Implementation Accountant, this role requires someone to start ASAP and will be based in Leicester M-F and easily commutable from the train station.
This is very much a 'hands on' role where you will really get involved in the end-to-end implementation within Finance. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills being experienced in communicating with people at all levels, both financial and non-financial.
