Data (Workflow) Analyst | Belper (Hybrid working) | £25,000 - £29,000 + bonus

I am currently working on a position offering the opportunity to work with a growing and successful, Manufacturing business based in North Derbyshire.

This Data (Workflow) Analyst job is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your career. You will be someone who has excellent attention to detail and a hard-working attitude. As an Analyst, you will support the workload and planning team and operational stakeholders in the business in analysing and forecasting workflow for service and maintenance engineers. You will also partner with non-finance stakeholders to bring the numbers to life.

What is the job?

  • Collating and analysing data from various systems and sources to provide accurate reporting of planned and forecasted workflows and types.
  • Provide accurate and critical analysis of both workflow demands and customer trends based on geographical regions and work types.
  • Working with primary and forecasted data to deliver daily, weekly, and monthly reports and calculations.
  • Liaising with the Senior Data Analyst and Workflow Controller to provide an effective forecast and delivery of pre-planned workload.
  • Create an effective forecast for delivery of Contract Maintenance volumes
  • Provide data and insight to create an effective schedule for pre-planned workload.
  • Tracking customers trends, preferences and responses by geographical area, work type and volume.
  • Create accurate reporting, dashboards, and data sets to support the effective planning of maintenance and customer contact schedules.
  • Utilising Salesforce, Vonage, Excel, and Power BI reporting to identify opportunities and areas for business development.

What are you like?

  • Strong analytical, scenario analysis and modelling skills.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient user of common analytical tools including Salesforce, Excel, Powerpoint (and a bonus would be Power BI)
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to connect and explain linkage between drivers and outputs.
  • Ability to prioritise and to operate effectively in a fast moving, global environment with tight deadlines.
