Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with a large organisation (c900m t/o) within Nottingham who are seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to oversee a specific department of the organisation.

It is a great time to join with exciting plans for the coming years and you will be playing an instrumental part in both leading and helping delivering projects, which will significantly impact the wider organisation.

Role
Reporting into the Head of Finance you will be a key business partner within the team, leading on a specific department area as well as managing and coaching a medium sized team (3 part qualified direct reports each with a more junior direct report, so total oversight of 6 heads).

You will be collaborating with the wider business unit on improvements to processes and wider change as well as financial planning and monitoring.

Requirements
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience managing and coaching a small-medium sized team
- Experience working with and improving Financial controls
- Experience leading the preparation of management accounts, budgets and forecasts
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrable business partnering experience and providing guidance to senior stakeholders
- Be a proactive individual who can work autonomously and is able to challenge both finance and non-finance stakeholders in a collaborative way
