Finance Manager | Nottingham| £39,000 - £45,600
Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with a large organisation in Nottingham who are seeking to appoint a Finance Manager on a 17 month contract to cover a period of maternity within the team.

It is a great time to join with exciting plans for the coming years and you will be playing an instrumental part in supporting various departments and projects, which will significantly impact the wider organisation.

The Role
Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager you will be a key business partner within the team, leading on an interesting variety of department areas as well as managing a team of 5 individuals.

You will be a proactive individual who will be informing and influencing policy formulation, contributing to decisions on financial elements of business development issues and advising non finance stakeholders across the organisation.

Finance Manager Responsibilities
- Managing a team, supporting their development and delivery
- Actively developing strong relationships with stakeholders providing a bespoke service with financial and business advice in order move forward key projects
- Partnering with budget holders to prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Advising on the allocation of resources at project level and effective budget management
- Preparing relevant financial and organisational information to facilitate change

Requirements
- Experience leading and motivating a small-medium sized team (PDP's, 1-2-1's etc)
- Experience leading the preparation of management accounts, budgets and forecasts
- Month end analysis experience and comfortable with large volumes of data
- Assured individual with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrable business partnering experience and providing guidance to non-finance stakeholders
- Intermediate excel (Pivot's, Vlookup's and IF's)
