Job Description

Job Title: Payroll Officer

Employment Type: Temp to Perm

Work Schedule: Full-Time (Flexible hours within 9am - 5pm)

Salary Range: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum

Location: Moulton, Northampton

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Overseeing approximately 90 payrolls, many of which include 1/2 directors in the company, resulting in consistent monthly payroll processes.
  • Handling the remaining quarter of payrolls, which may involve 20-30 employees per company, requiring weekly or monthly payroll processing.
  • Processing payrolls from start to finish
  • Possessing knowledge of pension and tax procedures, although expertise in these areas is not essential.
  • Utilising MoneySoft as the primary payroll system, although prior experience with the software is not required.
  • Utilising Xero accounting software for accounts and certain payments, although prior experience is not essential.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in payroll processing or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy when working with numbers.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt to different software systems.
