Immediate Start| Management Accountant | Sheffield (Hybrid Working)

The primary objective of the Finance Team within the division is to guarantee the accuracy and punctuality of all reporting, month-end accounting, forecasting, and budgeting tasks.

This encompasses overseeing Work in Progress management and all other financial procedures. Additionally, the team is responsible for delivering essential insights, including client-specific profit and loss statements to operational and contract managers.

The Management Accountant role:

• Complete month end accounting to Trial Balance level for reporting to Group.
• Assist with month end reporting, by ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded, and relevant journals processed.
• Assist with completion of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provide variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior year.
• Analyse client level P&Ls for review with operations.
• Project accounting and cashflow.
• Reconciliation and control of intercompany accounts.
• Ongoing WIP analysis and variance investigation.
• Assist with monthly cash flow forecast.
• Assist in budget process.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of accounting principles and contract terms.
• Previous MA experience.
• Ownership of end to end P&L/BS.
• Adherence to processes and procedures
• Qualified (ACCA, AAT, CIMA etc) or QBE.
• Excellent data/process/analytical skills.
