Purchase Ledger Assistant
Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Salary: £23,575 per annum
Position Overview:
The Purchase Ledger Assistant plays a vital role in the finance department, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices and payments. We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume finance environment. While experience within purchase ledger is desirable, it is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage a high volume of invoices efficiently and accurately.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with supplier payments and maintain payment records.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely processing of invoices.
- Provide support in maintaining accurate financial records.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume finance environment is essential.
- Experience within purchase ledger is desirable but not essential.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems, with full training provided on Efax.
