Credit Controller - Immediate Availability Required

Location: Nottingham City Centre

Type: Temporary-Ongoing (Potential for Permanent)

Hourly Rate: £12-£14 per hour

Hybrid Working: 3 Days In-Office, 2 Days Remote

Working Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Position Overview:

As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing credit control process. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer accounts, ensuring timely payment collections, and contributing to the financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Credit Control: Chase outstanding invoices via telephone and email.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to facilitate smooth payment processes.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, resolve billing discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
  • Reporting: Prepare and provide regular reports on debtor status.
  • Cash Allocation: Allocate payments to the correct accounts.
  • Query Resolution: Address customer queries and disputes promptly and professionally.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of credit control procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar finance role.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
