Not to be missed! Our growth focused and award winning international manufacturing client, a formidable player in their market is currently looking to recruit a new Financial Controller.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, growth and commercially focused branded business where you will be responsible for owning and leading the UK's financial reporting and controls, ensuring that all accounting and financial processes are delivered and accurately adhered to.

Reporting to the CFO your responsibilities will include the management, mentoring and development of a small but well-functioning finance team. Â Other key responsibilities of this exciting, visible and very hands-on new role will include; monthly group reporting including P&L, cash flow and balance controls, annual and statutory financial reporting, to ensure all balance sheet and ledgers accounts are correctly reconciled and to maintain accounting procedures and systems comply with and are in line with local GAAP, IFRS rules and regulations. This role will also have a pivotal and hands-on involvement in the costing and pricing of raw materials, labour charges and bill of materials.

You will also provide an analytical and evaluative business partnering service to ensure the business is best positioned to maximise opportunities and new initiatives, this will also require you to be hands-on and hungry to lead, challenge and facilitate group led projects relating to a broad range of topics including stock control, customer contract renewals and the implementation of a new ERP system.

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Financial Accountant / Finance Manager / Financial Controller / Company Accountant / Group Accountant with strong interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to work and manage collaboratively as well as independently.

This role will require the successful candidate to challenge, facilitate and influence at all levels across the UK business and group. (within both finance and non-finance functions) Strong spreadsheet and MS excel skills are also essential as is any recent sector experience of working in a cost & BOM focused manufacturing, engineering or supply chain business.
