Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with a large stable organisation within Nottinghamshire who are seeking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to support multiple wider business areas.

It is a great time to join with exciting plans for the coming years and you will be playing an instrumental part in supporting various departments and projects, which will significantly impact the wider organisation.

The Role
Reporting into a Senior Finance Manager you will be a key business partner within the team collaborating with the wider business unit on improvements to processes and wider change as well as financial planning and monitoring.

This is a standalone role from a management perspective but will have access to an Accounts Assistant who can support you with the more transactional areas of the role.

Finance Business Partner Responsibilities
- Actively developing strong relationships with stakeholders providing a bespoke service with financial and business advice in order move forward key projects
- Partnering with budget holders to prepare detailed budgets and forecasts
- Advising on the allocation of resources at project level and effective budget management
- Preparing relevant financial and organisational information to facilitate change

Requirements
- Experience leading the preparation of management accounts, budgets and forecasts
- Month end analysis experience and comfortable with large volumes of data
- Assured individual with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrable business partnering experience and providing guidance to non-finance stakeholders
- Intermediate excel (Pivot's, Vlookup's and IF's)
- Be a proactive individual who can work autonomously and is able to challenge both finance and non-finance stakeholders in a collaborative way
