Financial Accountant - Leicester - up to £38,000 per annum - Hybrid/flexible working

Macildowie Finance are thrilled to be partnering with a brilliant, fast-paced and dynamic business based in Leicester. The business has grown significantly over the last 12 months and has exciting growth plans on the horizon for the upcoming financial year too.

Some of the responsibilities of the role include:

• Maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations and actively manage the successful resolution of issues
• Perform P&L review
• Oversight of fixed asset register (and associated processes) and depreciation charge
• Assist with the production of entity financial statements and disclosure notes
• Assist with the review, challenge, import and reconciliation of Trial Balances
• Working with regulatory returns

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Ideally part-qualified accountant (studying towards finals)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Flexible, with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines
• Logical and methodical way of thinking/working
