Finance Project Assistant | 9 Month FTC | Salary Up To £45,000 | Remote Working

Role Overview: Following the restructure of the finance team and implementation of Acturis from OGI this role has been brought in to close the accounts on the old system. They key responsibilities include ensuring all historic balances are cleared by either settlement to the insurer or returned to the businesses clients, as well as the collection of debtors from clients.

Team Dynamics: The project team will consist of 2 people but there will be daily interaction with the broking ledger control team.

Role Details:

• 9 Month FTC
• Hybrid / Remote working
• Salary up to £45,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

• Chase clients/execs/handlers on outstanding debtor balances
• Settle monies to clients for return premiums/ overpayments
• Investigating and reconciling historic insurer balances in OGI
• Investigating and reconciling unallocated cash in OGI
• Liaising with Insurers on OGI balances with aim to clearing from the OGI ledgers
• Arranging payaways to be settled with the Sales and Purchase ledger team
• Weekly reporting to Group Head of Finance operations on progress

Requirements:

• Previous experience with OGI/Acturis or a similar brokerage system
• Previous experience on similar projects or roles
• Good IT skills including experience of Microsoft tools including Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
• Proactive and a can-do attitude
• Professional verbal and written skills
• Ability to work independently
• Deadline driven
