Job Description:

We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee and manage all financial aspects of the architectural firm. This is a standalone role, and the Finance Manager will be responsible for the entire financial function with the support of a part-time assistant for transactional tasks. Additionally, the Finance Manager will coordinate with an external payroll bureau, Tax advisors and external accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the financial health of the company
  • Prepare financial reports, management accounts, budgets, and forecasts for a small group of 3 companies
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure optimal financial performance
  • Coordinate with an external payroll bureau for payroll processing
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
  • Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures and make suggestions/improvements to the ERP system
  • Prepare and file VAT returns and other tax-related documents
  • Work closely with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred
  • Proven experience in a similar financial management role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Excellent proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
