Macildowie Finance are excited to work exclusively with a business based in the centre of Leicester to recruit for a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join their team.

This role will have a vital role in supporting the finance function of a small, hard-working team which is part of a larger business and support network. It will suit somebody who can take a proactive and analytical approach, but also someone who is looking to get involved in all aspects of the finance function.

This role does offer hybrid working, however the ability to be office based when required is also important.
Some of the responsibilities include:

• Be integral to the production of monthly management accounts and the efficient running of the finance function
• Process a range of financial data including purchase orders, invoices, journals, balance sheet reconciliations, purchase ledger, debtors, creditors, and VAT
• Support the sales invoicing function, including the timely and accurate processing of invoices
• Manage the payroll function including pension contributions and expenses, and manage payroll related balance sheet reconciliations and journals

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Ideally AAT qualified and willing to start ACCA/CIMA
• The ability to work independently, maintaining attention to detail on your work at all times
• Comfortable working in an office environment
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
