Macildowie are supporting in the recruitment for a well-established, highly recommended business based in Leicestershire who are looking for an FP&A Analyst / Finance Business Partner - initially on a temporary basis with the possibility of going permanent. They offer hybrid working of 3 days office/2 days from home.

As a Finance Analyst/Finance Business Partner, this role is to assist the finance and commercial team in producing monthly management accounts, coordinating month end deadlines, posting journals and assisting in budget and forecast preparation. They will be also be responsible for consolidating and reconciling monthly profit and loss accounts and other financial information, extracting the required data for reporting and analysis of trends and variances.

This role requires

• Previous management accounting and reporting experience
• Excellent, proven Excel skills (pivot tables, sum ifs and lookups) as will be working with varied finance data
• Thrives on analysing & interpreting information
• Strong skills in communication, organisation, self-initiative
• Calm, composed and enjoys getting digging into detail and problem solving
• Ideally experience of JD Edwards system (or similar)
• Ideally experience of explaining finance results / analysis to other colleagues / Managers and non-Finance Managers

This role offers hybrid working of 3 days in the office / 2 days from home.
