Credit Control Supervisor/ Milton Keynes/ Temporary 6 months/ £30,000

Role and Your Responsibilities:

• Maximise daily/weekly/monthly cash collection through proactive monitoring and collection activities. Ensure timely collection of sales ledger cash owed by customers.
• Minimise overdue debt through the effective application of delinquency policies.
• Resolve customer invoice queries accurately and promptly.
• Supervise and manage a team of 4 credit controllers, providing support through regular one-on-one reviews and coaching.
• Ensure the timely and accurate distribution of invoices and credit notes.
• Lead and motivate the collections efforts for both the UK and Overseas collections teams.
• Support the UKIN Receivables & Billing Manager in coordinating activities, setting team priorities, managing escalations, fostering risk awareness, and reporting while acting as the Team Lead.
• Handle other finance administrative tasks as required, covering for other finance staff and addressing ad-hoc duties.

Experience Sought in the Successful Candidate:

Essential:

• Proven experience in credit control.
• Ability to manage a significant number of complex and transnational accounts.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in managing small teams effectively.
• Strong communication skills, with a professional and polite approach to sensitive discussions.
• Proficiency in handling challenging customers to achieve favourable outcomes.
• Confidence and assertiveness.
• Self-driven with the ability to manage ledgers independently.
