Finance Administrator (Part-Time)

Location: Nottingham City Centre

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Hours: 22.5 hours per week

Hourly Rate: £11.65 per hour

We are currently seeking a Finance Administrator to join a dynamic team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. Position Overview:

As a Finance Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team. Your primary responsibility will be managing the purchase ledger, but you will also have the chance to engage in a variety of tasks related to payroll, sales ledger, and reporting. This diverse role will allow you to develop your skills and gain valuable experience in various aspects of finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the purchase ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.
  • Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.
  • Maintain the sales ledger and assist with credit control.
  • Prepare and generate financial reports as required.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to support their day-to-day activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar finance role is essential.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using finance software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information:

This is a part-time position, offering 22.5 hours per week, providing an excellent work-life balance. After an initial 12-week temporary period, there is the opportunity for the right candidate to secure a permanent role within the organisation.

You will be working within a small, close-knit finance team of three, providing a supportive and collaborative working environment. Training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure you succeed in this role and continue to grow in your finance career.
