Macildowie Finance are currently recruiting a fantastic Financial Controller position working for an award winning medium sized business based in Leicester. This business has an excellent reputation for its highly supportive and collaborative culture. They have a tight knit Finance team who are well on the journey to high performance.
You will also be responsible for the coaching, development and leadership of a medium sized finance team, constantly assessing processes and bringing forward ideas to drive efficiency gains and process optimisation.
Oversee all financial and management reporting for all subsidiaries.
Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting frameworks including external frameworks.
Upskilling, coaching and development of the Finance team driving standards and overseeing process improvement activity.
Identifying and responding to developments in financial reporting and regulatory standards and communicating them to the business.
Leading on all management reporting.

Developing external networks to ensure that the organisation's financial reporting is best in class.

Tight management of the cash flow, as well as cash planning.
Manage relationships with 3rd party bodies including Auditors, Banking providers and HMRC.
To be considered for this role you must be a Qualified Accountant with previous experience of operating in a Manager/Controller position within a privately owned medium business.
You must be proficient with all Microsoft programs in particular Excel up to Pivots, Look Ups, Ifs level.
Previous line management experience is essential.
