Interim Payroll Manager

Location: Near East Midlands Airport, with hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days at home)

Type: Full-time

Salary/Day Rate: Up to £70,000 per annum (equivalent day rate), dependent on experience

We are currently seeking an experienced Interim Payroll Manager to join our dynamic team near East Midlands Airport. This is a full-time position with the flexibility of hybrid working, allowing you to spend 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely from home.

Responsibilities:

As the Interim Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 4 payroll professionals. Your role will involve managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in driving transformation within the payroll function.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Payroll Management is essential.
  • Experience in a transformational payroll environment is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with the payroll system XD is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Adept at problem-solving and decision-making within the payroll function.

Hybrid Working:

This role offers a hybrid working model, allowing you to strike a balance between office collaboration and remote efficiency. With 3 days in the office and 2 days at home, you can enjoy the flexibility to manage your work and personal commitments effectively.

Salary/Day Rate:

The salary or day rate for this role is competitive and will be equivalent to up to £60,000 per annum, dependent on your experience and skills.
