Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding manufacturing business based in Rushden. As a Financial Controller, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the company's growth trajectory and play a crucial role in the strategic decision-making process.

Reporting directly to the FD you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial insights, analysis, and guidance to various departments, contributing significantly to the overall success of the organisation. Your ability to form strong partnerships across the business, along with your financial acumen, will be key to the continued development and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic partner to the various business units, offering financial support, analysis, and insights to aid in decision-making processes.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and budget analyses to the management team, highlighting key areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess financial implications of business plans and provide recommendations for achieving financial targets.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and drive profitability.
  • Conduct regular financial reviews, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and implementing necessary measures to optimise performance.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks.
  • Support the Financial Controller in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification or QBE will be considered
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data to provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across various departments.
  • Proficient in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.

You will be rewarded with a salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum + car + bonus.
