Job Title: Accounts Administrator

Location: Northampton

Salary: Up to £27,000 per year

Type: Permanent - Full Time

Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM - Monday to Friday - 1 hour lunch

Job Description:

As a Accounts administrator, your primary responsibility will be to provide essential support to the Finance team, across both ledgers. Your role will encompass the following:

  • Financial Handling: Manage transactions, invoices, and payments adeptly.
  • Ensure Accuracy: Maintain precise financial integrity via reconciliations.
  • Collaborate on Reports: Assist senior accountants in crafting accurate financial reports.
  • Resolve Billing Issues: Solve payment matters, nurturing client relationships.
  • Expense Control: Ensure compliance with company policies on expenses.
  • Assist Auditors: Support audits with precision and detail.
  • Flexible Support: Tackle extra financial tasks assigned by management adeptly.

Key Technical Skills and Experience:

  • Candidates who have recently graduated or are currently working towards an AAT qualification are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
