Senior Finance and Data Accounts Administrator| Leicester | Temp To Perm| Hybrid Working | Salary Up to £15ph

Macildowie are excited to be partnering with a brilliant business based in Coalville looking to add an experienced Senior Finance and Data Accounts Administrator to their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with immediate availability and experience in Accounts and data management.

Role Details:

  • Salary up to £15ph
  • Hybrid working 2-3 days per week
  • Flexible star and finish times across 37.5 working hours
  • Located in Coalville

The Role & Your Responsibilities:

  • Line manage one direct report
  • Set the direction and manage the team's workload.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for the department: liaising with Group Commercial, divisional finance and commercial colleagues of all levels, Tax colleague, supplier and subcontractors.
  • Manage the process for the creation of suppliers and subcontractors on the central database, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage the process for the accurate input of subcontract insurances and schemes ensuring the Group's policies are adhered to.
  • Develop, maintain and monitor process controls which ensure all accounts administration data entry is completed within deadlines, is accurate and complete.
  • Review monthly statements and ensure any issues are resolved in an effective and prompt manner.
  • Provide central expertise on CIS and ensure that CIS returns and payments are made on time by divisions to HMRC.
  • Continuously identify, develop and implement process improvements.
  • Proactively support projects, e.g. new systems.
  • Provide ad hoc reports and analysis as required.
  • Support Senior Finance manager to arrange cover as necessary for sickness and holiday.

Experience Sought In The Successful Candidate:

  • A motivated self-starter, focused on managing, coaching and developing the team member to achieve their full potential.
  • Customer focussed, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with internal and external customers at all levels.
  • Able and willing to carry out ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested by senior management.
  • Numerate, with excellent organisation and administration skills, and attention to detail.
  • IT literate, with a sound working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Self-disciplined with demonstrably good time management skills and the ability to manage a number of priorities.
  • Agile and able to multi-task and work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Team player, supportive of departmental colleagues.
