Finance Administrator

Location: Near Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire

Type: Temporary to Permanent

Start Date: 5th February 2024

Working Hours: Full-time, On-site

Salary: £22,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Finance Administrator to join a dynamic manufacturing business near Kirkby in Ashfield. This is a temporary-to-permanent role with the successful candidate transitioning to a permanent position after 12 weeks.

Responsibilities:

As a Finance Administrator, your primary focus will be on cash allocations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. In addition to cash allocations, you will be involved in various ad hoc financial administration duties to support the finance team.

Key Duties:

  1. Cash Allocations: Accurately allocate and reconcile incoming payments.
  2. Ad Hoc Financial Administration: Assist with various financial tasks as required by the finance team.
  3. Data Entry: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity.
  4. Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to resolve finance-related queries.
  5. Process Improvement: Contribute ideas for improving financial processes and systems.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in finance administration roles is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software.

Temporary-to-Permanent:

This role offers a unique opportunity for the right candidate to join our team on a temporary basis with the intention of becoming a permanent member after a successful 12-week period.
