Our client, a reputable organisation in Colwick, Nottingham, is actively seeking a Finance Assistant to join their finance team. Job Description: Junior Sales Ledger/Finance Assistant

Location: Colwick, Nottingham

Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 per annum (Full-time)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the finance team to process and manage financial data
  • Support the generation and processing of sales invoices
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of routine finance tasks
  • Assist in debt control processes to maintain financial health
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, obtaining necessary data
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance department

Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience in a finance-related role is advantageous
  • Basic understanding of financial processes and principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Ability to work well within a team and meet deadlines
  • Positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
