Job Description

Position: Credit Controller

Location: Daventry (the company location is easily accessible from Rugby, Southam, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Coventry and Lutterworth)

Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home per week

Salary: £27,000 - £31,000

Term: Permanent, Full-time, Flexi-hours

We are pleased to collaborate with an innovative and highly flexible organisation in the Daventry area who are recruiting for a Credit Controller on a hybrid and permanent basis. We are keen to employ a candidate who is keen to make process changes when the need or opportunity is there, and of course someone who is able to chase outstanding payments whilst building/maintaining customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure payments are agreed with customers and made in a timely manner
  • Liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve queries.
  • Reviewing credit reports and proposing facilities for new customers
  • Debtor Balance Management: monitor balances for reduced DSO
  • Account Management: creating and managing new customer accounts and Master Data
  • Management and review of credit facilities for customers
  • Process improvement - collaborate with various departments for credit control system development

What we need from you:

  • 1-3 years' experience in a similar Credit Control or Accounts Receivable position
  • Root cause analysis and problem-solving abilities, plus great attention to detail
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • To be highly organised, ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
