Credit Controller
Location: Nottingham City Centre
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum
Working Hours: 8.45 am - 5.00 pm, with flexibility of +/- 1 hour
Working Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely and effective collection of outstanding debts.
- Conduct regular credit checks and assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and clients to facilitate efficient communication and issue resolution.
- Process and reconcile customer payments, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer queries and concerns.
- Monitor and enforce credit control policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar Credit Controller role.
- Strong understanding of transactional processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport.
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
