Job Title: Purchase Ledger Team Leader

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum

Type: Permanent

Company Overview:

Join a thriving business based in Milton Keynes as a Purchase Ledger Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing finance team who are also predicted to continue to grow. They have two people currently in the purchase ledger and are looking for a third due to natural growth

Due to the fast paced nature of the team, they are looking for someone who is used to high volume work and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase ledger maintenance for over 16 sites
  • Efficiently handle 500 weekly purchase invoices
  • Streamline invoice approvals and coding in the general ledger
  • Resolve supplier queries and collaborate with internal teams
  • Conduct monthly supplier statement reconciliations
  • Organise and process monthly BACS payment runs
  • Ensure smooth month-end processes for the purchase ledger

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Effective communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
  • A team player who is flexible and enjoys collaborating with colleagues.
  • Intermediate Excel skills - must be able to comfortably use pivot tables and v-lookups
