FP&A Manager
Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced FP&A Manager to work for a dynamic and rapidly growing business in Northampton.
As an FP&A Manager you will play a key role in driving financial planning and analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and strategic planning initiatives. The FP&A Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights, support decision-making processes, and ensure financial goals are aligned with the overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to gather relevant information and ensure accuracy.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to analyse various business scenarios and support strategic decision-making.
- Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and key drivers to senior management.
- Collaborate with business partners to understand their financial needs and provide recommendations for cost optimisation and revenue enhancement.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management, highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations.
- Monitor and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, economic conditions, and market dynamics to provide relevant and timely insights to leadership.
Ideal experience
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication with the ability to convey financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
You will be rewarded with a salary of £65,000-£85,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits.
