Job Description

Are you a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA professional seeking a challenging 9-month contract with the potential for permanency? We have a fantastic opportunity with a prestigious Lincoln-based organization undergoing a transformative phase.

Joining the company during a pivotal period of change, you will collaborate closely with the CFO, playing a key role in establishing a robust and value-driven commercial finance function. Your strategic insights will drive financial decision-making processes, and you will lead the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes.


  • Provide strategic financial guidance aligning with long-term business objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategies with overall company goals.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying key business drivers.
  • Prepare regular sales and margin reports to support commercial decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyze variances, validating business-wide risks and opportunities.
  • Work closely with department heads, understanding financial needs and providing insights.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, ensuring financial goals align with operational objectives.
  • Provide financial support for key business initiatives and projects.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis.
  • Implement process improvements for enhanced efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

  • Strong analytical mindset.
