Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

  2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and monitor budgets, providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.

  3. Variance Analysis: Conduct thorough variance analysis, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions to ensure financial objectives are met.

  4. Cost Control: Implement effective cost control measures, working closely with department heads to optimise spending and improve overall financial performance.

  5. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity, providing recommendations for optimising working capital.

  6. Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, liaising with external auditors and overseeing the preparation of statutory financial statements.

  7. Ad-hoc Financial Analysis: Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required, providing key insights to support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant or Part- Qualified with a strong academic background.
  • Proven experience in a similar interim management accounting role.
  • Familiarity with the caravan or related industry is advantageous.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with accounting software.
