Macildowie Finance are working with a leading manufacturing business in Leicestershire who require a Management Accountant to work within their dynamic finance team covering maternity on a fixed term contract basis. This presents an outstanding opportunity for a candidate with a background in management accounts as you can become an integral part of a substantial organization, as a crucial aspect of this role involves forging and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organisation!

Key responsibilities:

• Delivering timely and precise month-end reporting
• Engaging in effective business partnering with both non-finance and finance stakeholders
• Overseeing cost management and ensuring a comprehensive understanding of reported variances
• Providing valuable support for forecasting processes
• Providing supporting in key projects

The ideal candidate should:

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills adaptable to all levels of colleagues
• Enjoys interacting with colleagues
• Ideally be in the Part Qualified stage of CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
• Exhibit the ability to meet deadlines in a pacey environment
• Have previous management accounting experience.

This role provides a working arrangement of 4 days office/1 day home once initial on boarding has been completed in the office.
