Job Description

As the Credit Controller Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department by managing applications, invoices, and completion paperwork with meticulous attention to detail. Your responsibilities will include creating transactions, issuing invoices, maintaining records, and assisting the Credit Manager as needed.


Job Title: Credit Controller Administrator

Location: Derby, UK

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum (based on experience)

Working Style: Full Time - In Office

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate application transactions on Coins software based on project team input, ensuring accuracy in data entry.
  • Raise and issue invoices, self-billing documents, and accounts receivable documents to customers promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract status, completion dates, and relevant documentation.
  • Assist with updating Contract Stages and closing contracts upon final payment.
  • Handle miscellaneous tasks such as issuing insurance and VAT documentation, uploading billing information on client portals, and maintaining contract documents.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within credit control or finance.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software such as Coins is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of VAT and CIS procedures is advantageous.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
