Senior Credit Controller / Central Leicester / 9 Month contract Up to £30,000 Per annum salary

Overview: Macildowie are excited to partner with our client, a leading company based in Central Leicester, in their search for a talented Senior Credit Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team on a 9-month fixed-term contract basis, with the potential for extension. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum and the flexibility of hybrid working, combining office-based and remote work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee credit control function, managing the end-to-end process from invoice issuance to debt collection.
• Conduct regular reviews of customer accounts to assess credit risk and implement appropriate strategies to minimize exposure.
• Negotiate payment terms with clients to facilitate timely settlement of outstanding invoices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure effective communication and resolution of credit-related issues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in credit control, preferably in a senior capacity.
• Strong knowledge of credit control principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications,
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in financial data.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Prior experience in the finance or accounting sector is advantageous.
