Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Finance Analyst to join our clients growing team based in Kettering. Hybrid working is available with this role!

The Senior Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to provide insights that will drive business decisions and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business planning and decision-making processes.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and insights.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis to optimise business performance.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial plans.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Experience:

  • ACCA/CIMA qualified or finalist level
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis tools.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
